Art & Health at Manzil Way

June, 2006

Artists Charlotte and Carol of 'Making Marks' and Steve Larkin from 'Hammer & Tongue' ran a series of creative workshops at Fusion to generate themes, images and text for the public art work at the new East Oxford Health Centre in Manzil Way.

Voyage

A regular art class for vulnerable young women to them the opportunity to try new artistic processes and bond as a group.

The Outside Space

Artist Ann Rapstoff worked with Refugees and Asylum Seekers in East Oxford, as part of the inSite public art commission, using the arts to help establish their connection to the community.

Fastforward

October, 2000 - April, 2003

Fastforward was launched in October 2000, the only project delivering arts specifically in conjuction with homeless people, its mission being to promote the power of arts and their positive social, cultural and educational impact.

Transition

December, 2007 - December, 2008

Three artists explored the theme of ‘Transition’ with individuals who perhaps do not normally have the opportunity to express themselves through the visual arts.

Faces Between Places

November, 2008

Faces Between Places worked with homeless people, rough sleepers and users of Oxford Night Shelter using the mediums of photography and music as part of Faces of Oxfordshire.

Bonny Banks Barton Public Art Work

Bonny Banks

Fusion worked in partnership with Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council Playbuilder initiative to integrate an artistic element within the new play development for Barton, utilising s106 money from Barrett Homes.

Journey through Campsfield

Writer in residence Julia Hollander spent 3 months working with detainees at the Campsfield immigration detention centre near Kidlington.
