WALK SPACE - take a walk around this East Oxford art trail!

Artist David Little worked with local older people to create a subtle and evocative art trail through St Clements and Angel meadow, starting and ending at Fusion Arts on Princes Street.

PAVEMENT JEWELLERY - SOLVE THE PUZZLE!

A series of 58 bronze ingots were designed and laid into the pavement along Cowley Road in front of and relating to certain shops or landmarks.
The ingots reflect the unique history and evolution of the road - a kind of time capsule for the collective knowledge of the local community for future generations.

Each ingot presents a puzzle to figure out its meaning and each ingot has a pair.
Find all 28 pairs then you can try to figure out a hidden quote that connects them, which has a special significance to the area.

ARTIST SOUP!

Next "Artist Soup" coming soon....

Artists Soup is an informal gathering of visual artists and other creative people.
It is a way to meet other local practitioners, to share conversation, support eachother, have fun and share supper.
Home made soup and bread will be provided - there is a Ł2 contribution per head towards the food costs.

We are asking the people of Cowley, visitors and residents past and present to bring to the shop their documents, letters, photographs and personal belongings relating to the area to build up a picture of Cowley by the people who lived there.
Help us build a virtual scrapbook of Cowley life, memories and experiences past and present.
Portraits of Cowley - bring in a photograph or object to be photographed for your portrait.
You will get a copy of the photograph and the images will be used as part of the project as we build a virtual scrapbook of Cowley.
Look through photographs, books and documents to find out more about Cowley's past, tell us your stories and access websites in-store to research your family history.

A WORD IN YOUR EAR!

Young people from Oxfordshire getting vocal with "Word Up'!!
Rap, freestlyle, hip hop, grime, spit rhymes, write and perform your own lyrics! Express yourself through lyrics, and SAY SOMETHING!
