Witch Way was a 10-minute film created as part of a collaborative filmmaking project by the Open Set crew, an inclusive group of young people working with professional film makers from Jewson Film Productions. The short film of the same name featured an array of witches and ghostly figures, set against the spooky backdrop of the woods.
Giving young people the opportunity to experience a professional film shoot and participate in the various jobs in film production, the script was created using ideas from the young participants during hands-on sessions.
The project was run by Fusion Arts in conjunction with Parasol. This initiative was funded by the Department for Children, Schools and Families through the Youth Opportunity Fund/Youth Capital Fund and Chill Out Fund.
